Azle Composite Squadron Invites Community to Open House August 27, 2024
SPRINGTOWN/AZLE, Tex. (August 19, 2024) – Azle Composite Squadron, Civil Air Patrol (CAP) invites the public to an Open House at 2233 E. Hwy 199, Springtown, TX 76082 (Cornerstone Community Church) 6-9pm. The entire community is welcome to walk through the parade of displays and learn more about Civil Air Patrol. Members of the squadron will be present to greet visitors, explain CAP’s missions, and provide demonstrations related to aerospace, communications, emergency services, and youth leadership. There will also be an opportunity to sign up for the next Cadet Great Start Class beginning September 17, 2024. Read more...

Local Civil Air Patrol Unit to Host Search and Rescue Exercise
AZLE, Tex. (March 15, 2021) – TX456, Azle Composite Squadron, Civil Air Patrol, an active squadron of 30 members, will be hosting an Emergency Services Search and Rescue Exercise (SAREX) Saturday, March 20, 2021 beginning at 9:00am and continuing throughout the day. This exercise will be held in the parking lot of First Baptist Church Azle at 1017 Boyd Road.
